Beginning Thursday, January 11, 2024, Masking is Required at Student Health on Haven
On January 8, the NYS Department of Health issued an advisory recommending that all healthcare facilities in New York institute a facility-wide masking policy in response to a significant increase in respiratory infections from a new highly contagious dominant sub-variant of SARS-CoV-2, as well as circulating influenza and RSV.
In alignment with that recommendation, all students and visitors to Student Health on Haven are required to wear a well-fitting surgical mask or higher filtration non-cloth mask. A well-fitted mask should securely cover your mouth, nose, and chin.
In lobbies, hallways, and waiting areas, we ask that you please remain masked and do your best to stay 6 feet apart. If you do not have a mask, we will have them available in waiting rooms.
Effective January 11, NewYork-Presbyterian has also adopted facility-wide masking; please see their Visitation Guidelines page for more information.
