Warming Up NYC
From January 27 through February 9, the AIMS Council, in collaboration with Columbia University Care Access Project (CCAP) is hosting Warming Up NYC, a student-led clothing drive for new or gently used cold-weather items. Please consider donating any new or gently used items to one of our campus drop-off locations or sending warm weather items directly via our Amazon wishlist. Within a week, ALL donated items will be directly distributed to people living outdoors with the support of CCAP and our community partners' ongoing outreach efforts.
Acceptable items include new or gently used hats, coats, thermals, sweaters, pants, gloves, blankets, scarves, shoes, and new socks or undergarments. If you have a coat that has been in your closet for too long, boots that do not fit you anymore or any other cold-weather items, please bring them to one of our six conveniently located donation boxes found across the CUIMC campus.
Articles will be accepted at drop-off boxes in the following lobbies:
- William Black Building | 650 W. 168th St.
- Tower 1 | 60 Haven Avenue
- Allan Rosenfield Building/Mailman School of Public Health | 722 W. 168th St
- School of Nursing | 560 W. 168th St.
- Tower 2 | 100 Haven Avenue
